There is no single set of protocols that will meet all requirements to test all 'HHO' devices. While most 'HHO' devices are similar, there are enough differences to require that each proposted test must have its own unique protocol. The following are suggestions on the testing protocol: myself and the person accepting my challenge will agree upon the specific protocol.

Suggested Protocol One:

If your 'HHO' device has a flexible tube that is used to introduce oxyhydrogen into the engine's air intake, I suggest the following protocol. This is the easiest way to test your 'HHO' device.

Suggested Protocol Two:

If your 'HHO' device DOES NOT have a flexible tube that is used to introduce oxyhydrogen into the engine's air intake, I suggest this protocol. This protocol is for complicated (and therefore unusual) 'HHO' devices.

In every single case, the following parts of the testing proceedure are not up for discussion, nor modification, and are mandator:

  • Failure on your part to sign each required Statement of Fact (see my "Documents" page) will constitute a failure of the device itself.

  • "Successful completion" of testing means the 'HHO' device demonstrated, after applying the agreed-upon testing protocol, that it provided at least a 14% increase in fuel economy.

  • Failure of the seller or promoter to appear at the agreed-upon date and time of the test will constitute a failure of the device itself.

  • If at any time during the test, if anyone other than me touches the automobile, or any equipment used during the test, that test run will be terminated and marked as a failure of the device.

  • If anyone other than me comes within ten feet of the automobile, or any equipment used during the test, that test run will be terminated and marked as a failure of the device.
